Artificial Ignorance is a Live A/V project combining VJs Elastic Eye + MoreBuck$ and Aboutface Musik. Using many different visual mediums including; film, 8mm/16mm cine film, 35mm slides, photography and animation/motion graphics alongside an audio mix of field recordings and live instruments to create a progressive experience for both the eyes and ears.
Willing to mix traditional percussion, analog & digital, instrumentation and abstract recording techniques, allowing each track tell a story. Aboutface’s mix sets build into a sonic collage which cross many genres.
Aboutface has 5 solid years of producing under his belt which led him in 2008 to be picked up by BBC introducing, where his track Ricochet was named in the top tracks of the year.
2009 saw his Aboutface EP “Ricochet” released on Davis and May’s melodic imprint “Back Home”, with artists such as James Holden, Ricardo Tobar, Sasha and the Kompakt Label showing support.

ELASTIC EYE + MOREBUCK$:
Their live shows are both unique in content and mixing style. Video loops are made from their own experimental films, edited/cut with animation and rare archive footage.
Highlights to date include residencies at Ministry of Sound (London), Bedlam (Kent) and live sets for Warp Records in Brighton.
In 2010, they joined Stanton Warriors for the launch of their new “Warriors” live show. Playing a UK tour, including Glastonbury Festival.
In May 2011 they entered the Mapping Festival VJ Contest held in Geneva, Switzerland. They were the only UK entry and earned a place in the Top 10 from 42 initial applicants.
One of their latest projects was providing visuals for internationally renowned classical pianist Alexis Ffrench in a performance that was broadcast to 125 countries.
