      Sound Map of the State of Rio de Janeiro

      Platform for mapping the soundscapes from the cities of Rio de Janeiro and Niterói, which is being built collaboratively, in the form of a “museum of sound” in the neighborhoods and communities. The soundscape of the Festival will be recorded by the group.

      Collaborative Mapping of the Recôncavo (Bahia)

      Project divided into three steps. There will be a cartographic mapping using GPS and aerial photos of the region of Recôncavo. Then the map will be highlighted in interesting points of the area. Finally, the information will be available for public access and collective contribution.

      The Deleted City

      Project on digital archaeology, the installation is a map of the files from the extinct Geocities. Shows the file system as an urban map, with spatial arrangements of “neighborhoods”. The navigation on the map allows viewing HTML pages and images from a recent past of the web.

      This lab serves as an interdisciplinary and collaborative space, dedicated to experimental research of interactions and data visualizations. Operating on the tripod art-design-technology, proposes the construction of views from the use of data of the Brazilian society.

      The project aims to map in the city of Sao Paulo works of art on the streets that go unrecognized for being already part of the landscape. In addition to mapping, the site gives a detailed synopsis about the works with the comment from an expert.
